Playing In The Rain

So, earlier in October we had a random thunderstorm one afternoon. One of those beautiful days with no sign of rain, until suddenly the sky opens up. Not just rain, but absolute down pour. Maddie, Jacob, and Caden got so excited and wanted to play in it. There was no thunder or lightening, so I agreed. They had the best time, but were freezing after playing in the rain for about an hour. All three of them had blue lips and were shivering, so we went straight up to a hot bath where they all soaked for another 30 minutes until daddy got home. Here are some pics of them playing.

Pumpkin Patch

Well, it is that wonderful time of year again. We love fall around our house. So many fun things to do outside and lots of football! There is a local Pumkin Patch here that is great and that our kids loved last year. Jake had off work on Monday, so we made it a family day at the Patch and had a wonderful time. We were there for about 4 hours and stayed until none of them could walk anymore. It is very hard to get any of our children to ride in a stroller or wagon, but by the end of the day we couldn't get any of them to walk! They had a blast and have been begging to go back. Here are some pictures from the day.

Jacobson's Visit

My sister Kyla, her husband Steve, and sons Trace and Trenton came to visit us for a couple days here in Texas. We went swimming at the pool, spent some time just playing at our house, and then spent all of today at Sea World. We had a great visit and were so thankful that they came to see us. Maddie, Jacob, and Caden loved getting to spend time with them, especially that cute baby Trenton and their buddy Trace. Here are some pictures of the kids hanging out together.
