Jacob At 8 Months

Jacob has really enjoyed being 8 months old. He has had a wonderful month of new discoveries and changes. He now has all front 8 teeth and loves to bite and show them off. He loves food! Anything you put in front of him disappears. He enjoys being able to feed himself table food. He is also crawling all over the place...he follows Maddie everywhere and drives her crazy. It is very funny to watch. He is pulling up on everything and loves to be standing. He thinks he is big stuff now. He is always on the move and loves to be just free to play and explore. He has a sweet temperment and is very rarely upset. My favorite change is that he now says mama and dada. It is a wonderful thing when I walk in the room and he yells out "mamamamamama."

Maddie At 2 1/2

So, Madison is now officially two and a half. She is getting so big...Jake and I wish that we could freeze time. She is such a beautiful little girl. She loves to be outside playing with bugs and worms. Here are a few pictures of her over the past month.

Uncle Jamie's Visit

Jake's brother, Jamie, came to visit for a few days at the very end of April. The kids loved having him here to play with. Maddie loved sitting on his lap and playing outside with him. Jacob enjoyed spending time with him as well. It was nice to have him here and we hope he comes again soon!

Catfish Festival

A few weekends ago we went to Paris, Tn for their annual Catfish Festival. It is the world's largest fish fry and we had a great time. We watched catfish races, ate a lot of fish, and went to the carnival. I think we had the most fum people watching, but that is a whole other story. Maddie rode on her first roller coaster and we were so proud of her. She got on all by herself and was a little scared, but did great.
