"I love to suck my toes!!!"

Rock n Roll 1/2 Marathon

I ran in the 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles) here in San Antonio this past Sunday. It was my first race of any kind and I really enjoyed it. I have been training for about the last month and it went well. I finished in 1 hour and 59 minutes and was able to run the whole thing. Here are a couple pictures that Jake took as he waited for me near the finish line. It was so nice to see him after the race, supporting me and cheering me on.

Trunk Or Treat

On Friday night we went to trunk or treat at the YMCA. We provided a trunk so kids from all over town could come participate in a little festival the Y put on. They had about 20 vehicles, a bounce house, hay ride, and a big park for the kiddos to play on. It was really nice and we were glad to be a part of it. Maddie and Jacob had a great time with Jake while Caden and I handed out candy to over 300 kiddos in costume.
