Our Family Picture At Jacob's Party

Maddie's First School Project

Maddie had to make a project for her Kid's Day Out class. It is an All About Me poster. She included pictures to show that she loves to play outside, ride her bike, swim, find bugs, color a lot, and jump from things. She also included pics of people that she loves like her brothers and her friend Danie. And in the middle on top was a sweet picture of her and her baby dog, her best friend. She also drew pictures of her and jacob, a butterfly, a flower garden getting rained on, and spider and its web, a monster, and a rainbow. It was a lot of fun to make with her and she is very excited to present it to her class.

Jacob celebrated his birthday this past Saturday. He had a pool party, a dinosaur cake, and a pinata. He had a blast with all of his friends, and received some very nice gifts. I think he felt very special and loved by all of his friends. I couldn't get him to take any pictures with the little boys he is friends with, but he didn't hesitate when I asked him to take a picuture with two of the little girls he is friends with, Lexi and Evie. Lexi is officially his first little crush and he even gave her a big thank you kiss when she gave him two rubber snakes for his gift.

Jake's parents came to visit us for a long weekend and we had a blast. Lots of swimming and playing outside. Here are some pics of them with our children. They were sad to see them go, but happy to hear they will come visit again soon.
