Happy 2nd Birthday Jacob

We had a nice party for Jacob last night. I cannot believe that he is 2 years old. Jake came home early from work (the best surprise of the day!!) and we celebrated our handsome little boy. Earlier in the day we made a Dino birthday cake with chocolate frosting (the most important part). He also requested pizza for dinner, so he helped me make some homemade pizzas...pepperoni for him of course. We had our neighbors over for some dinner, cake, singing and a couple presents. He had a blast and really felt special. Here are some pics of our celebration.

Last Priority...Lawn Care

With how busy Jake has been, lawn care has taken a back seat. He feels terrible that he doesn't have time to maintain our back yard, but the kids love it!!! Maddie and Jacob call it their jungle. They like to hide in it and Maddie likes to pull it out of the ground to "help daddy". There is also a video of Jacob jumping off of our play set included.

Maddie's First Day Of School

Maddie had her first day of school (Kid's Day Out) on Monday. She is going twice a week and is so excited. She thinks she is big stuff now!! Jacob was asking for her all morning and didn't understand why we left her at church and why he couldn't stay. It was sweet and she had a great time.

Sweet Kiddos

Caden is 2 1/2 months and is doing great. He sleeps for 9-10 hours at night, smiles a lot and talks like crazy. His little head and neck are getting stronger each day, but he hates tummy time! Maddie and Jacob are doing great also. They love to watch a movie after their nap and love to play with their daddy even more! It is hard to believe that Jacob will be 2 in a couple weeks.

Caden at 2 Months

Well, Caden is now 2 months old. He is growing so fast. He had a great check up and is very "long and skinny". Wonder who he takes after!! He is 11.5lbs and is close to 24 inches long. He has a sweet snuggly personality and is a very content little guy. Here are some pics of our handsome son.
