Maddie turned 4 on the 28th of October. She is growing so fast and is becoming such a beautiful little girl. On her birthday spent the morning at Paint, Paper, Scissors so she and Jacob could make some projects. We went with a bunch of friends and they made some great pictures and even got to decorate pumpkins. I didn't get any pics because watching all three of them around lots of glue and paint was difficult all in itself...didn't have a free second to get the camera out. Then we went to daddy's work for a nice dinner together and headed off to church for awana's. We celebrated her birthday as a family at Chuck E Cheese last night and Maddie had a great time. We had pizza, cake, presents and lots of games! I think she felt special and had a nice time.

Pumpkin Patch
This weekend we tooka trip tot he pumpkin patch. It was out in the country on an apple orchard farm. They had hay rides, a petting zoo, apple deserts, lots and lots of pumpkins, and many other things for the kids to explore. We had a wonderful time. Maddie and Jacob ran around for 2 1/2 hours straight until they couldn't even walk anymore. We ended with some cold apple cider and a carmel apple that were unbelievable. Jacob got bit by a turkey and had a chunk taken out of his hand. Maddie got stung by a bee while holding her sweet apple cider. And Caden got to lay in pile of pumpkins for the first time. It was a memorable and fun day.

Maddie's First Soccer Practice

So, Maddie loved her first soccer practice...for about 10 minutes. She doesn't have the longest attention span and she did awesome while she could concentrate, but the bugs that were out and the huge park by the field had a huge affect on her being able to pay attention. She was so cute out there running around and we were very proud of her. I think she will really enjoy it. These are just some pics from her first practice, so there will be more to come as soon as she starts playing games and scoring some goals!!
