Easter Egg Hunt

Maddie participated in her first Easter Egg Hunt this year. It was a little postponed due to weather, but she had a blast. She found a couple eggs and didn't want to look any more because she realized there was candy in them and just wanted to sit and eat the candy. It was pretty funny. She is so classic and really makes us laugh.

Maddie Found a Snake

Maddie was playing in the backyard tonight and found a big snake. She was so excited and wanted daddy to catch. He caught it and let her touch it and it made her night.

Wrestling

Maddie and Jacob love to roll around and wrestle on the floor. Jacob always goes for her booty for some reason. He likes to bite her diaper. We have to watch pretty close though because Maddie gets too rough very quickly.

More Family Fun

Here are a few pictures from when my mom and Dee visited last weekend. The kiddos had a blast again and are loving seeing so much family. We took them swimming and had a hard time getting them out of the water. It was Jacob's first time and he absolutely loved it. I think I could have left him in the water all day. Dee bought Maddie a huge lollipop and she went crazy. Her whole face was blue by then end of it.

Jacob Wants To Move!!

In the past week, Jacob has started getting up on all fours. He rocks back and forth really fast because he gets so excited. This little boy just can't wait to move! He gets everywhere he wants to go by rolling and scootching, but apparently that just isn't fast enough.

Jacob 6 Months

Here are some pics of Jacob at 6 months. He is doing really well and is a sweet baby. He weighs about 18 lbs and is 28 inches long. He has three teeth and about three more that look like they will be appearing soon. He loves to play on his tummy, but gets very frustrated that he can't crawl yet. He scootches wherever he wants to go, but just wants to get there faster. He doesn't like sitting. If I sit him up he immediately plunges forward so he is on his belly. He just wants to be moving...not sitting. He is doing great and getting so big so fast. He smiles all day long and is quite the charmer.

Easter 2008

He is risen!!! We had a wonderful Sunday celebrating that Jesus is alive. Maddie and Jacob enjoyed their baskets and then got all dressed up for church. It was a really nice day spent together as a family.

Uncle Dan and Aunt Lora's Visit

My brother and sister came to visit us over their spring break and we had a great time. Maddie and Jacob loved having them here and miss them lots. Maddie has a big crush on "Uncle Day'an" (which is how she says it with her sweet southern accent).

March Snow

We had a "big" snow here on the weekend of March 8th. We got about 6 inches or so, but had high winds so the drift got pretty deep in some areas. Maddie loved playing in it...although I think Jake had just as much fun.

Jacob Playing On The Floor

Jacob just loves to roll around on the floor. He is starting to get so frustrated that he cannot crawl yet. He just isn't content staying still...reminds me of Madison. It is cute to watch him roll and scootch around.
