Moving Pictures

Here are a bunch of pics over the last 5 weeks. We took Maddie horse back riding, swimming, and to Auburn football and soccer games. Jacob was a trooper and had a good time everywhere we went. He was dedicated at our church in Colorado Springs the day before we left town. We are so thankful for our beautiful little children.
Halloween 2007

Here are some pics of the kids with our pumpkins and in their costumes. Jake carved out a pumpkin for Maddie and for Jacob and then we all ate pumpkin seeds. It was a lot of fun and Maddie loved the seeds. She is very proud of her jack-o-lantern. She is going to be a Lion ("simba") and Jacob is going to be a puppy for halloween. It should be a lot of fun.
Maddie's 2nd Birthday

Maddie turned 2 on the 28th and we had a great day. She really wanted to go to Chucky Cheese, so that is what we did. The Kitson's and her Aunt Rea came up to meet us for dinner. She opened a few gifts, ate lots of pizza and cake, and rode on all the rides she could. She had a blast and is still telling everyone about her birthday.

Airborne School

So, a lot has happened over the last 6 weeks. We have had no access to a computer because we have been in the process of moving from Colorado to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. While moving, we took a quick 3 week detour to Fort Benning so that Jake could complete Airborne school. In other words, he was trained to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. He did great and loved the training. It was very hard both physically and mentally, but it is something that he will always be proud of. He has his wings on his chest and Jacob, Maddie and I are all very proud of him as well. Maddie loved watching the airplane and got even more excited when the "balloons" came flying out of it. We got the opportunity to go and see all 5 of his jumps, even the night jump that occured around 11pm for him. It was a great thing to be a part, we love supporting our soldier.
