3 Weeks Later...More Stiches
Yes, it has been three weeks and we had to go back to the ER to get more stiches. Maddie fell off her chair while reaching for a piece of pizza and hit her chin on the table. I wouldn't have expected a cut or anything because it didn't look like she hit it hard and barely even cried. But, when I saw blood and looked, I was caught a little off guard. She had a long, deep cut that I knew would need stiches. So, we headed back to the ER for more stiches. Is it bad that Maddie is begining to recognize and know the names of the entire ER staff at the hospital here??

Happy New Year
We spent the New Year holiday in Jasper visiting with family. This is when we get to celebrate Christmas with Jake's parents. The kids had a great time playing with Grandma and Papa and opening their gifts. They especially enjoyed looking at and touching the beautifully decorated tree that they had put up. We spent Saturday at "the farm" visiting with a lot of Jake's extended family. It was a wonderful time of relaxing, good food, and fellowship. It was really nice to see family that we hadn't gotten to see in a while. Madison and Jacob loved running around outside and got as dirty as possible. It had been raining, so Maddie was even successful at digging up a bunch of worms.
New Years Eve In The ER
Yes, we spent New Years Eve in the Emergency Room. At about 5pm Maddie was tackled by her little brother, fell, and hit her face on the corner of our bed frame. She had a very deep little cut that we knew would need some stiches. We got there and a very nice Oral Surgeon that Jake called met us there, sedated her, and fixed her right up. He did a wonderful job and we are very thankful that he took the time to fix her for us.
White Christmas
We had a very white and wonderful Christmas this year. We went to Wisconsin the week before the Holiday to spend some time with family. We all had the best time. There was a ton of snow, so the Maddie and Jacob got to go sledding with their cousins Trace and Anthony. We also spent a couple days at an indoor waterpark that was in the Wisconsin Dells. It was incredible...Maddie is still talking all about it. Then we just spent some time making Christmas cookies and relaxing. It was a great visit and here are some pictures to show off some of the suff that we did.
