Jacob At 12 Months

Jacob had a fun birthday to celebrate him turning one. We had a nice party here and then also had another party up in Wisconsin. Here are some pics since his party. He loves bugs, animals, and being outside. He also has developed a new love of popsicles. It seems like he enjoys anything dangerous, so he just follows his sister around.

Our Little Sweethearts

Here are a few recent pictures of our kiddos. In these pictures Jacob is 11 months and Maddie is 33 months. They have a lot of fun together and look a lot alike. They are both sweet little kids.

Happy Birthday Jacob!!!

Well, today is Jacob's first birthday. We cannot believe that he is already one year old. He is 22lbs and is growing like a weed. He is walking everywhere now and loves to climb. He dances whenever he hears music and eats everything we put in front of him. He loves to throw balls...and food, and really enjoys being outside. He has a really sweet personality and flirts with everybody. His big smile flashes all his pretty teeth. We had a party for him an Saturday to celebrate with some of our friends and family. We had a swim party in our backyard and had a nice BBQ lunch with some cake. He had a great time in the pool and demolished his cake. I think he had a really nice day. Last night we took him out to Japanese for dinner because he loves to watch them "cook with fire" (as Maddie calls it) and his favorite food is their fried rice. They brought him some ice cream with a candle and sang to him after we ate, so he felt pretty cool. Here are some pictures from his party. We will be going up to Wisconsin this weekend to celebrate with my family, so he is in for another treat.

Dare Devil

So, both of our children have no fear (or no brains, you choose). The really bad thing is that Jacob wants to do everything that his big sister does...and she is crazy!! I haven't gotten many pictures of him doing crazy things because I am too freaked out to let him do it for long enough for me to get a picture. But, he has figured out how to get up on our train table and loves to walk around on it, can get up on their desk that is taller than him, and will push a little rocking chair over to the couch so he can use it as a step to get up on the couch and then onto our little end tables to play with the lamps. I will try have pictures sometime soon, but for now I just need to make sure he does not kill himself. As for Maddie...she loves to jump on our bed and jump off of things. Who needs a slide anyways???
