Jumping On The Bed

Maddie loves to jump on our bed. She is 32 months old now...do people still count in months at this point??? She is beautiful and a little sweetheart. Here are some pics of her on our bed.

Jacob At 10 Months

Here are somre pictures of little man. He is getting so handsome and his hair is so beautiful. It has started curling in the back and on the sides and has gotten a lot lighter in the sun. He still only has eight teeth, is about 21 1/2 lbs, and loves to climb on everything. He is a little monkey and tries to copy his big sister in everything she does. He has started walking in the last week. He can already take 10-12 steps without hesitation or falling over. A couple more weeks and he will be running. He is getting so big so quick, but he has the sweetest personality.

Work Picnic and 4th of July Carnival

Jake had his work picnic on the 3rd and then we went to a carnival. We had a great time. Maddie and Jacob both loved the jump houses and the swings at the park. Later that night we went to the carnival to let Maddie ride on the dragon roller coaster. It was broken, so we were a little bummed, but Maddie found a different ride that she liked even more...the Himilaya. It went very fast and I was surprised that she was tall enough. She wanted to go all by herself and she loved every minute of it. We let her ride twice, but she would have stayed on it all night long. She was the youngest on the ride by far. Next youngest kid on the ride may have been five. We were very proud of her and her fearless spirit.

Playing Outside

Both Madison and Jacob love to be outside. They love playing in our backyard because they have the freedom to rome around, play on their park, or dig in the dirt for bugs. Mostly Jacob just follows Maddie around and tries to copy everything she does.

Summer Swimming

We got a cheap pool to put in our backyards for the kids to cool off in and they love it. Jacob goes crazy when he sees it and throws a fit when we take him out. Maddie likes to splash around a little more than Jacob likes.

Lakehouse Trip

We took a trip to the Lakehouse in Wisconsin for our summer vacation. We had a great time fishing and relaxing and it was great to get to see my family. Madison and Jacob had a blast playing with everyone. I think Maddie could have stayed up there with all the bugs, frogs, and worms. Her highlight was taking a bath with leeches.
