Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

We took Madison to the zoo here in Colorado Springs. It is a beautiful zoo up in the mountains. She loved seeing and feeding the animals. The elephant and the hipo were very fun to watch.

The Happy Apple Farm

We went to pick Blackberries and Apples at the Happy Apple Orchard with some friends.

Maddie Loves Playing At The Park

We took Maddie to play on a park for the first time. She loved the slide, swings, and monkey bars. She wants to do it all herself, but doesn't understand that she isn't quite big enough yet. She is so much fun and loves all her new adventures.

Proud To Be Walking.........And Falling

She is now walking all over the place. She started taking steps on her own about two weeks ago (Labor Day Weekend) and is now going all over the place. She is still very clumsy, but she gets better every day. She can even dribble a soccer ball already! She is doing great and loving all the new things she can get into. So far she has only had one bloody lip, but I am sure there are more to come.

War Eagle!!!

She is an Auburn Tiger at heart, but has Wisconsin Badger in her blood. Either way, she is beautiful. She was dancing and showing us all her moves in her new outfit that Bumpa got her.

Sunrise

Maddie and I watched the sunrise together from our backyard bright and early in the morning. She is an early riser and she loves to be outside to see it get light out and to watch all the birds.

Madison's First Experience With a Cat

We went to the Ross' house over Labor Day weekend and Maddie got to play with a kitty for the first time. James, the cat, was very sweet and enjoyed playing with Maddie. She chased him all over the place and wore them both out.

Lora's Visit

My youngest sister Lora visited us over Labor Day weekend. Jake got a 4 day weekend so we were able to do a lot of fun things. Jake took her white water rafting and we hiked at many local locations. We had a great time and her little niece loved her very much. Madison really enjoyed having company and loved playing with Lora.

Moving Into Our House

We moved into our house this week on wednesday the 9th of august. It has been a long presess of unloading tons and tons of boxes. Maddie enjoyed watching us...but got soooo tired watching us work so hard.

We Made It To Colorado

We finally have arrived to Fort Carson in Colorado Springs. It is beautiful here and Maddie seems to love being outside here. We have done some pretty neat things so far. Our first hiking adventure was at Red Rock Cannyon. We bought a backpack to put Maddie in and she seemed to have a great time.

We took Maddie swimming at the pool on base in San Antonio. She loved the water and her new little bikini. Boy, was she cute!
